FAQ

If you have additional questions, I encourage you to book a free 20-minute consultation call.

are you currently accepting new clients?

Yes, I am currently accepting new clients for therapy services. I am licensed to see clients located in Washington, D.C. and Virginia. I offer a limited number of in-person appointments in Washington, D.C. on Fridays, and complete the rest of my appointments virtually using a HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform.

What are your rates?

I charge $180 per session. We will decide our session length and frequency together.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Yes. I reserve space in my caseload for free or reduced-cost therapy. Please reach out to inquire about reduced-fee availability.

Do you accept insurance?

I am considered an out-of-network provider. I can also provide you with a superbill to help you obtain reimbursement from your insurance provider.

What will our consultation call be like?

This consultation will be a free phone call lasting between 15 and 30 minutes. During this call you will get a better sense of my personality and my approach to therapy. This is also a great opportunity to ask questions! I will get a chance to hear about your needs and goals for therapy.

If we decide we’d like to keep working together, I will direct you to a HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform where you will complete the necessary paperwork and schedule your first official session. If I don’t seem like the right fit for you, I’ll help you find the provider that is.
